Cursiply’s case converter changes the capitalization of text without making you retype it. Paste a sentence, headline, paragraph or several lines into the box, choose a conversion style, then copy the result or download it as a plain-text file. Conversion happens locally in your browser.

How to change text case

  1. Enter or paste your text in the input area.
  2. Select UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case, sentence case, or another style.
  3. Copy the converted text or download a .txt file.

Which text case should you use?

UPPERCASE makes every letter capital; lowercase makes every letter small. Sentence case starts a sentence with a capital letter. Title Case capitalizes key words in English titles, while Capitalize Words capitalizes each word. Alternating, inverse and toggle case offer creative variations. Automatic title casing is a practical approximation, not a substitute for a publication’s style guide.

The tool preserves line breaks and punctuation. Results for some languages, special letter combinations and abbreviations may require a manual check.
